What's the weather like there?

As you are coming to Cusco, one of your first questions is:  What’s the weather like?

November is expected to be the beginning of the rainy season, but it is still very pleasant to visit, as it's possible to have a fairly dry month.  Of course you should come prepared: brilliant sunshine may fill the morning skies, with potential showers later in the afternoon or evening. Temperature shifts between day & night can be profound. They can vary between 17 or 20 degrees during the day and drop to 4 degrees at night, a warm afternoon may dissolve into a crisp, cold evening.

However, in Arin, in the Sacred Valley, you can enjoy the blessings of dry days, with sun-drenched days and cool, peaceful nights. The air is crisp and clean, infused with the scent of earth & eucalyptus, & the sky often reveals its brilliant blue canvas from dawn to dusk.

- Warm daytime temperatures: Temperatures can be quite warm during the day, ranging from 15 –20 °C (59–68 °F)
- Cold nights: Nights can be chilly, with temperatures dropping to 5°C to 7°C (41°F to 45°F). or even lower, so warm clothing is essential.

Whether you're exploring sacred ruins, breathing in the stillness of the Sacred Valley, or wandering through the vibrant streets of the old city, understanding the natural pulse of the Andes will help you flow with the land, not against it.
